"Maybe Cat and water not so strange friendlies after all. Water is everywhere—in airs, in clouds, in humans. Even inside Cat. Cat made of water. Just like human. Just like jellyfish. Be water, my friend." --Cat
Just don't try to force me in water or slashing claws will be activated with enthusiastic vigor. -Also Cat
Having a terrifying cat climbing you with all of their might like at tree while utilizing the razors at the end of paws to achieve this ascent is hardly my idea of a fun time.
Cats are my favorite animal, and they taught me quickly that there is never a right time for bath time and so I began trusting that their sandpaper tongue was more than adequate of handling their cleaning showering duties.
Beautiful essay Cat! For me one of those books was "Johnny got his gun". Very different vibe but has always stayed with me. I look forward to aqua viva.
"Like a cat whose fur bristles,I bristle when faced with myself"...I love that. Great piece,Cat...your cat wisdom is definitely balm for my battered soul...thank you so much for stopping by...😽💕🍤
Philosophers are where I get 'my' wisdom to live by. Examples: "Idealism increases in direct proportion to the distance from the problem" Gainsworthy; Absence of evidence is NOT evidence of absence (author unknown); "Liberty and ignorance cannot coexist." Thomas Jefferson; "If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change." Buddha; "My religion is simple; my religion is kindness." Dalai Lama; and many, MANY more. Thanks for such a thoughtful AND thought provoking piece!
James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake is very long, maddeningly difficult book that also challenge what book is. It tell no-story story in circular, multilingual pun-filled dream language. Time is mythological, eternal recurrence of universal themes. I only dip toe in it now and then like cautious cat dipping paw in still water. It always make think even if not understand on first or hundredth read. It very funny and poetic also. I name one of my cats after book. Much crunchies and nose boop, Cat!
Paint very appealing image of book with these words. Will add to list. Cat recently come across copy of Ulysses, but finds very intimidatings. Cat will try bean dip method 🐾
Cat should try read Dubliners and Portrait of the Artist first if not already. Stephen Dedalus, stand-in for author, appear first in latter. Ulysses Annotated: Notes for James Joyce’s Ulysses by Don Gifford also help with obscure references. Joyce also was cat lover like many famous writer. He write letter for grandson which made into children’s book, Cats of Copenhagen. Love bean dip! 😀

Wise human.
Wisdom flows from cats to human. Like razor claws when introduced to water.
Very wisdom. Very intelligence. Very philosophy.
Very thank you ≽👁️ܫ👁️≼
Felines are wise, felines teach calm, fun, rest, sun spots on couch. Who lives behind deep stare in feline eyes? Much power in slow life of thought.
😽
Very wise book report by Cat! I look forward to read this Aqua-Viva. Thank you 🏄♀️ 🌊 💕 🍤
