Hello nohlacat, this Cat. First: have nohlacat try asking George about devious plans? Maybe plans not so devious. Not know unless ask. Second: If remove things from counters, George no can knock things onto floors. Third: How often do playtime with George, Tuna, Stormi, and Pepper? Cats need playtime. At least once a day. If no have playtime, then make devious plans. Keep cats happy with very many playtimes, cats make less messies.
i have another question. so pepper, my cat whose 5 going to be 6 in february and stormi my younger sisters cat, whose 2, i think, do not like each other, they keep hissing, growling and hitting each other, and i don't know what to do. they don't need to like each other, i just don't want to wake up at 3am to the sound of fighting anymore. -nohlacat
Hmmm. Cat is not there so Cat can only give general advices.
First, no yell at cats when fight. Yelling scare and stress out cats. Instead, when cats fight, try distract from one another with toys and playtime. Feather-wand toys good for this.
Do both cats have each own food bowls, own beds, own litter box? These cats may be fighting for territory, for have own safe space.
Make plenty of perches in high places, like cat tree. Maybe even two cat trees since have 4 cats. Cardboard boxes make good place for cats to play and hide in. Do things for make both cats feel safe and cozy: playtime, reassurances, and dedicated areas for cozy time.
This is Cat’s best advices. May need be like detective: observe quietly and see what triggers fights. Be patient! Hope this help 🐾
