Cat contemplates labor.

Hello. This Cat.

Since Cat start newsletter, Cat receive many comment and hearts. Cat very pleased by this. Cat work very hard, spend much time looking at screen, sending hearts and reply to comments. Cat work so hard that Cat’s human worry Cat spend too much time laboring on metal box.

Cat learn this word, labor recently. It mean a task, a project, exertion of the body, trouble, difficulty, hardship. Labor mean work. Humans spend lot time work. Humans spend so much time work, humans make thing call Labor Day. Cat find this interesting because Cat’s human not do work on Labor Day. Cat’s human lie in bed, eat chips, and read books.

Cat’s human explain to Cat that Labor Day is for celebrate workers. Labor Day is for give workers holiday. Workers need holiday because workers build things. Workers make human game possible. Workers trade time for moneys, then trade moneys for important things like food and cozy warm place sleep at night. Cat’s human work and trade moneys for give crunchy treats to Cat, so Cat celebrate Labor Day too.

This Labor Day, Cat’s human think Cat spending too much time staring at metal box, so Cat’s human turn off metal boxes and take Cat outdoors.

Outdoors, Cat is enjoyer of sunshine, grass, birds, leaves, air, and wind in fur. Cat smell everything. Cat play with bugs and chew on grass. Cat dig in dirt and make zoomies. Cat listen to heartbeat of all that is, and Cat feel alive.

Cat spend all day stretching, rolling in grass, receive many scritches. Cat tell human how good it feel to touch grass. For some reason this make Cat’s human laugh and laugh ⁉️ Cat and Cat’s human do much resting on Labor Day.

In fact, Cat spend most of every day resting. This because Cat know rest to be very, very, important. Cat think humans forget this sometime. Cat think humans set up extremely complicated game with lot of hard work, and very small reward. Please contemplate.
